I like the book because it does give a bit of input on helping you understand Bullying, but it's a bit out dated on some of the exercises it offers. Unfortunately Bullying is more intense and kids these days probably won't even want to partake in the activities.

I work with teens and the ones dealing with bullying say this is helpful.Kids just need to feel like they have options for dealing with bullies and this gives it to them.

( Its easy to unstand for young teens.). (Mom or dad.. Can help ..) It's a workbook .. (Wow great book:) you should buy this book if your teens are haveing a hard time in school, at home, it's the book for you!!! Its the book i have been waiting for !!! Its so easy.. If you're interested in American history and historical customs, you will definitely enjoy this book. If, like me, you are a homesteader, this book is a must. Not only filled with interesting tidbits of information, there are drawings and descriptions that are worth the price alone. Also charts such as: "An early list of basic herbs," "seasons of the common cooking herbs," and "Herb dyes of the 1700s." "Recipes from early American Farm Days" include recipes for things like: farm beer, mead, colored fires for fireplaces, dyes, paints, medicinals, and such toothsome goodies as Love Feast Buns, Election Day Cake, Chestnut Pudding, and more.

This book is timeless, and the author does an excellent job in not only sharing "old-style" techniques but also the differences of thought, custom, and changing perceptions. He shows the intelligence of our ancestors in a time and place where technology had not dulled our primary senses, and shares many tidbits that other historical books skip. I'll be buying his other books as well!

We liked the book because it lays out a lot of the good, old lifestyles and methods that were used in this country that have been lost. Many of the old methods involved much more wisdom and care for the land and our natural resources than we consider today. The old methods seemed to have much more concern for the long term affects on our land and other natural resources. Today's mentality seems to be much more focused on instant gratification.

The man is fantastic, he is not only an outstanding artist, the man can write. He makes you think, he talks of values, life, and gets you to REALLY think. He takes you on journeys, he shows you beauty, he's just plain GOOD. I love his books, you will too.

The book is illustrated with great sketches and shows the modern urbanite how the rural Americans survived, thrived and prospered.Any Sloane book is an essential part of a library for those individuals who are feed-up with the urban ratrace and are seeking a simpler, self-supporting, rewarding experience.

I am planning my first cruise and my first trip to Hawaii. I found this book to be extremely useful. The information is well organized and complete. The pictures and maps are good. The information about every port and possible tours available is great. Overall I found this book to be quite helpful.

This book gives you a better perspective than a normal guide book on the Islands. Such as whether you will be docking or tendering. What to expect when you disembark from the ship in each stop,from transportation to tours. Very informative!

The book is very colorful and helpful for us to prepare for our upcoming cruise. It arrived in a timely fashion. Very satisfied.

I bought several travel guides prior to our cruise to Hawaii, and while this one was ok, others were more comprehensive. This did not really contain any new or different info about the islands, and was a bit too generic regarding the various cruise line options.

Highly recommended for its great in-depth writing on all aspects of cruising pre and post, amazing photos, maps and comprehensive island recommendations and history.Plan on donating my copy to my local library after my upcoming cruise.

I'm honestly a little disappointed. The design is cool but most of the pop ups will need considerable help forming the intended shape (walls of buildings skewed, round turrets turned concave vs convex). There are some neat details like doors to open and you see a perspective view of interior but you might want a flashlight for a good view since it'll be dark in there. Directions for opening into a full map were terrible; other reviewers on this site clued me in to the trick of sliding a pencil under the tabs and pulling up on pencil to pop out tabs to unfold pages. If you try to do this by hand or with fingers you'd probably tear the tab. Pencil trick worked great! Writing enthusiasts will cringe at the stilted wording; it's a challenge for sure to summarize the entire HP universe in 5 pop up spreads. Overall ok if you can get this book at a reduced price but I didn't feel it was worth list price.

If you receive one that is damaged, return it and get a new one!I am a collector of M. Reinhardt ( & R. Sabuda) pop up books. They are so fantastic that when I’m a little disappointedIt’s because the previous one was so wonderful it’s impossible to top!As a maniacal H. P. fan, I was afraid that “Hogwarts” might not be all that I hoped for, but it is!Bought 3. One for me and each of my daughter’s families.I was going to save it for Christmas but it’s a perfect Halloween gift!Well Done!!

I love Reinhart's pop up books...however I was disappointed in this one. While the ability to completely lay out all the scenes at once is wonderful, the artwork is DULL and uninteresting. The castle was especially uninteresting with lack of surprises and color. It struck me as more of a dungeon. The forest was nice but again lacked interest. Hogsmead was cute but it is almost impossible to see what was actually depicted even when turning the book at odd angles. The only colorful scene was the stadium. It also lacked in the minor pop ups. I then dug out Lucy Kee and Bruce Foster's pop up that I purchased a few years ago. It, to me, is 100% better. It takes you right back to the films. It's colorful and the scenes are exciting! The minor pop ups are numerous and just as fun. Honestly, Foster's book brought back memories and smiles. Reinhart's book, for me, was just plain dull (especially the castle), boring, and disappointing. While unique in being able to open the entire book at once, it was more like an uninteresting aerial shot. Up close, the "surprises" were tiny and boring. I glad I pre-ordered Reinhart's book at a savings because the current price for this one would have hurt. Foster's book in my opinion is the winner!

rhe derail is super cool in this book but the design is horrible. A couple of the flaps were broken upon opening my book and while following the ‘directions’ most of the rest of them tore as well. As an avid HP fan I expected this to be awesome but it’s barely usable. I wouldn’t recommend buying this for others especially children.

 As a fan of origami & pop ups and someone who create paper crafts as well, I found this beautifully made and cleverly genius! love everything about this~ I understand that creating paper crafts like this and having to fold it close sometimes it will need a little bit of help when opening back up. So for me having to refold or to straighten some parts is nothing, I still find it beautiful nonetheless (This is what I hoped people would understand). It is very wonderfully made, there are even parts you can peek through inside. The mini pop ups are just as awesome~!! My fave is the Padfoot and Marauder’s map pop up, those are very cleverly made, love it!! And another thing I like about it is you can spread the whole thing!😍 The tabs are quite difficult to take off though~ Although this could be great for kids, I think it will live longer with collectors as some of it are quite fragile when opening. Maybe you can show it to kids then have an adult keep it at other times 😅

This is one of the most beautiful books I've ever seen. I spent hours exploring the little nooks and crannies and opening the trap doors and reading the material. However, I purchased a new book and it had some damage like it had been explored before I got it.

This is the Hogwart's pop-up the world has been waiting for! (Okay, mostly me.) Like Reinhart's Game of Thrones pop-up, this expands into a much larger 3D map of the Hogwarts and Hogsmead. The trick is trying to undo the tiny flaps that hold the book together. The GoT one didn't have this and was *much* easier to open. The instructions on this one don't really tell you how to open the book (which I fault the publisher and not Reinhart.) Once past that hurdle, the book is amazing and an example of why Reinhart is in a league of his own.

Stunning map of the potter world for hogwarts fans. Would have liked a note about the tabs and use of pencil on the instructions — nowhere on the instructions does it mention tabs that need to be opened by sliding a pencil under and pulling up from both ends. These are on three sides of the book. Otherwise just wow! Will join my other treasured pop ups by him and sabida on our shelves

I was extremely disappointed in this book. The description makes it sound like the author did a lot of research to develop this Day Trips book on Phoenix, Flagstaff, and Tucson. I found found many errors in the book by just doing simple google searches on the locations. I know the book is 2 years old as of this writing, but some of the incorrect facts have not changed in years according to the multiple sites I contacted. (Example: While the book says cameras are allowed as long as flash is not used at Kartchner Caverns State Park, the website clearly states no type of cameras are allowed including cell phones). I called the park and they told me this rule has been in effect since 2011. Another item that makes this book substandard is there are NO PICTURES of any of the trip sites. Something most people expect in this type of book. In fact, the same stock black and white photo is used more than 35 times in the book! It is the same photo that is used for the cover (at least the cover is in color). That alone showed how little effort went into researching this book. There is really NOTHING that a simple Google search would not do better. I was really looking forward to this being a useful guide for my trip to Arizona, but alas it is nothing more then dated, incorrect facts. Look elsewhere.

Used this book for many of the days we spent in the Phoenix area. I loved the way it organized day trips for you. The directions are perfect and descriptions accurate. This would be the one book I'd pick if I were going to choose a book again. I was saddened by the things listed we were unable to do because of lack of time! Also, I learned that Arizona is huge! Being situated in Phoenix, the Tucson and Flagstaff day trips would take a half day to get to. And, of course, I wanted to do some of them so badly, I will be going back and taking this book with me!

Great little book that gives you ideas for things to do and explore if you don't know the area. It has decent recommendations of not only what to see but the prices involved and the difficulty in getting there.I used it several times on my trip, along with another book. Well written and concise.

This book delivers some good ideas for day trips around Arizona. I have lived here for almost twenty years and found several places to visit in the book I had not thought of before. We have tried one of the trips in the book. All the information in the book was accurate and up to date. looking forward to trying some a bit further afield.

Very disappointing travel book! Every photo in this book is of Montezuma’s castle.- there literally are no others! If the author actually traveled to these places wouldn’t it too easy to add an actual photo of that place???? I seriously think this is worst travel book I have ever purchased.

Excellent collection of trips. Lots of really useful information. I will probably wear this book out re-reading it.
