This books beats OTC to death. It complicates and over-analyzes simple issues.

I'm in pharmacy school and this was a requirement. We had an online copy but after getting the physical book I was hooked. The format of the book is pretty straightforward and is easy to navigate. The information is very thorough and there are handy flowcharts to help you process the information. As well there are counseling examples with summaries so you can tailor the information to the patient and overload them with details.

I bought an older edition to save money.If you are really curious about how Pepto, Nywuil, Benadryl, and Aleve really work, what the pro's and con's are, what the alternatives are -- this is THE book!

There are many ways to o say the to treat what ills you. This book contains tons of information that every home should have in its arsenal. This has come in handy. I have a better understanding of my choices.

too expensive - no need to make these so pricey for the students. the editions are always changing. many grammatical and other errors in this book. but it was compulsory for me to have this book so there is no choice. it is quite interesting to read.

It covers current treatment options for a variety of medical conditions and tells you the current guidelines for when it's appropriate to treat and when you should refer a patient to their physician. Each chapter highlights exclusion criteria for treatment, standard dosing information, and provides patient case assessment to test your knowledge at the chapter conclusion. If you are a pharmacy student or a medical student, this book will come quite in handy for you!

On first impression I was surprised by how physically light this textbook is for its size. The text reads clearly, but the tables are most valuable for getting to reference information quickly. This would be a great addition to a family bookshelf for when anyone needs safe medical self-care for pain or a multitude of common problems.

We love these Indestructible books. I was excited to order this new Baby Let's Eat book since my son is understanding different foods. When we eat he runs over to grab the book and points to what's actually on the table.

These books are great. I was expecting it to be a board type of book, but it's made of thin papery/platicy material. But it is definitely rip and chew proof. I'm sure a strong adult could tear it (my husband claims "rip proof" is a lie because he could easily get it to rip, of course I'll never let him test it...lol), but it's safe for my 1 year old at least. The colors and illustrations are fun and my little guy loves playing with it. I especially like them for keeping him occupied in the car.

My baby consumes literature! Well, it might be a stretch to call this literature, but she consumes it. She absolutely loves these books. They’re the noisy and thin pages like normal paper, but, she can’t give herself papercuts. I even keep one in my diaper bag with a metal paci clip attached and then just use the loop side to connect through a Buckle or high chair strap (keeps it off the ground)!

At first glance I was a little disappointed because the books are pretty thin, but I’ve grown to love them. The colors are vivid, and they truly are indestructible. Our 16 month old is known for ripping and ruining books by chewing on them. These have held up like a champ.

We got one book as a gift and my one year old loves it. So i ordered a second. She flips through it, bites it, and pretty much everything else a toddler would do. It hasn't torn or ripped, but it is wrinkled from her twisting and folding it. But it's still readable and hasn't had any other damages, so I think it's great for the little ones.

My 1 year old is OBSESSED with this book. He loves to eat, so I guess I'm not surprised. He loves flipping through the pages and talking about all the different foods. Bonus points for this book holding up so well!

These books hold up to their name. We keep them in the car and I have no fears that the baby can look at books and not end up with a mouthful of board book by the time we arrive at our destination.

Bought this for my nephew.... just heard they were indesuctable, had no idea what to expect. They're just like paper books! You can even take them in the bath! Who knew!!

Although I could not put the book down, it sounds strange to say that I’m not sure how to rate it or what to say about it. I think the reason I couldn’t put it down was because I kept thinking there was going to be more to it. I loved the concept but really couldn’t understand what her connection was to some of the five. With the exception of her boyfriend/fiancé, the storyline was pretty predictable especially when it came to her father issues. The issues she had with her best friend were really immature and didn’t really make sense as to why she was invited. The professor was a big question for me too. There was never really any connection in the backstory as to his importance in her life or why we should really care. Of course, inviting Audrey Hepburn was understandable because who of us wouldn’t name someone famous as our five. All in all, the book was good but pretty depressing. I would never discourage other readers from reading it. I just found her choices, considering the backstory, a little confusing and uninteresting. The whole story was pretty depressing. I feel she didn’t leave that dinner with any real closure or life changing answers.

While the book was written well, UGH. Horrible, depressing ending, no resolution to the 'heroine's' angst, etc. OMG, such unresolved issues. I feel like throwing the book in the trash!I was intrigued because I would love to invite Audrey Hepburn to dinner, but after that... Really, an upsetting book. Had I known it was so 'soul-searching,' I would have passed...

I first saw this book at Costco. I took a picture of the jacket on my phone. I am so elated I did. This novel made me happy and sad....I enjoyed every moment. In fact, I didn't want it to end...but it did and it was lovely. You'll cry and its a good cry.

This book was an interesting read. Dream guests at a dinner party is always a great topic, and I’ll admit my love of Audrey Hepburn and love stories is what drew me to this book. The twist with the boyfriend/fiancé was a clever one, but as I turned the last pages of the book, I found myself wishing there had been more to it. It was delightful at times, predicable at others, and depressing in between. I did enjoy it, I just wish we saw a little more background to the other characters. And more Audrey Hepburn is never a bad thing.

I absolutely adore this novel, it's ending, and recommended it to all of my friends and family. It is a charming, sometimes sad novel based on the idea of inviting whomever you would like, dead or alive, to a dinner party. This novel is a quick read and would be great for a weekend trip or shorter vacation.

This book grabbed my attention from the first chapter and kept me engaged through the last sentence. It’s a beautifully written book about love, loss and family. One of my favorites of 2018!

This is an excellent book and reading it gave me the preparation and confidence I needed to enter and win a Pitching Contest. Most of it is common sense, but the book is laid out clearly and and you can apply its suggestions to your pitch immediately. There are plenty of example of pitches in here that later became household names; you see right away why something worked and why it may be worth trying for your own Pitch. This isn't a one-all reference, there are very good videos and podcasts on this subject that should also be included in a writer's/artist's preparation, but this book was extremely helpful in filling the holes. This book is worth much more than its price.

David Levy gives a glimpse into what it takes to be successful in animation production, with an entertaining and engaging approach. He shares stories from his career, using his own personal experiences in pitching animation projects, as well as the experiences from fellow animators who have succeeded and failed in the market. There are some great nuggets of advice that he buries in the text and although it's entertaining I wouldn't treat it as a light read if you want to pull the information. His points on how all creators are not created equally resonates through the book - there are some animators who are able to make opportunities based on their connections, their portfolio, their experience and track record. Who you know and who you are matters. If I were to share one criticism with the author, I would tell him to do more "show and tell" - add even more relevant examples of materials like the pitch bibles so that the playing field will be more level and the readers can see more of what works. Overall, I enjoyed the book and the author's approach - a good behind the scenes look at the process.

This book was very helpful. I had a list of questions I needed answered about this subject and it seemed like every new chapter I got to checked another one off my list. I'd read the chapter heading and cheer that it would focus on another important aspect of the process. The author writes like he's your friend preparing you for this important stage in your career. I really hope that I can put the production part of the book into action -- so far it's just the pitch! Great work.

Accessible reading but unfortunately a bit thin on content. Was hoping for some solid production notes, thoughts and breakdowns on the process of production (as in budgeting and contracting proessionals before a pitch - so when you go to the pitch, you're armed with financing knowledge) but it really is all commentary on the pitch, ending before the production. Aimed at a network pitch (American style). Author writes well and is easy to understand. Not boring, just not what I was looking for and perhaps one too many generalised comments from executives.

David B. Levy does an amazing job introducing the many facets of the development process and the competitive edge needed to succeed in this business. For people new to the animation industry, this book will detail the path other creators have taken to develop and pitch their projects and will also give expert advise from network execs. This is a nicely done haggadah. It does a good job of letting you know when to pick up the wine glass and when to put it down without drinking, all those little things that go along with the seder. The extra readings are nice too.I just wish there was a way Orthodox books could be more inclusive. i understand that they can't change Torah. But the four sons could be the four children. The matriarchs could be added to the text in places. But, this is an ArtScroll publication and, like all of their publications, is authoritative, complete, and very well done.

I thought the Hagadah was OK, but not up to my expectations. No songs, none of the good old days we were used to in our old books. We had a good sedar, in spite of my criticism, and the participants liked it better than I did.

The great thing about this book it that it's fun to read. It has a lot of pics about legends that are somehow similar to the events depicted on Star Wars. If you are a fan of the Star Wars films, or just a fan of mithology, you will love this book.It's a great gift for children who are beginning to read, and are somehow familiar with Star Wars.

Cool look at the power of myth from historical and star wars storylines. I wish they expanded more on the historical parts of this book but it is for kids.

This is a first rate introduction for younger readers to the structure of heroic stories.Taking examples from the Arthurian legends, Aeneas, Norse legends, Greek mythology, and other traditional sources and comparing them to the Star Wars epic, this book lays out the framework of the heroic journey. OK, so it's not a scholarly study of mythic literature, but it is an excellent primer for younger (10-14) readers, using both classical sources and a popular contemporary source to describe literary patterns in a fashion that won't put them to sleep.Try to make an 11 yr old read Chaffinch or Edith Hamilton's Mythology and things will start with eye-rolls and groans. Tell them the have to read a book about Star Wars, and they'll be so confused that you're making them read about a movie that the educational aspects will slip right past their conscious minds and into their brains before they realize that you put one over on them.The pictures are good, but make the pages a little busy, but given that they show King Arthur with pre-1000 BCE style arms and armor rather than sixteenth century armor, I think I can forgive the author's excesses.E. I used this book in a class called "The Heroic Journey" - this provided my students with an excellent, simple yet useful set of concepts to begin to understand how they can apply Joseph Campbell's discussion of The Hero to the Star Wars trilogy. I was grateful to find something so simple, visually appealing, and well-structured that I could easily adapt to interactive lesson plans.

I found the book useful teaching tool for introducing children (ages 3-11) to the characters and their mythic roles in the Star Wars saga. The book has great illustrations which correlate visually the similarity between historical and legendary heroes from history and myth. It helps draw the parallels between myth/history/and contemporary popular fiction.

Don, is a scientist with Aspergers and his relationship with Rosie is just wonderful. Especially considering where Don started out from, and all the hurdles he had to overcome. Seeing him now with his child, and still going strong with Rosie after 13 years made me love him even more. Personally, I love it when kids are part of a story. Even better if the kid is like Hudson, a mini Don, with all his complexities.I’m not going to lie, I have a weakness for quirky characters.And often that comes when characters who struggle with every day occurrences, social niceties, and an overall way of thinking differently in a world that isn’t very forgiving or tolerant.The Rosie Result is all about Don trying to make Hudson’s life at school easier. The way he goes about is heart warming and so “Don”. Hudson, with eleven years has a mind of his own, and a very strong personality. And I loved how the author took the offerings and advice of a village to resolve it all.Don’s problem solving as always made me grin and chuckle. He still struggles with some aspects but he has Rosie to guide him when unsure. I truly love their relationship. The outspokenness, openness, and honesty between them works wonders.Also incredibly fascinating was the interaction between school and parents, all the small dramas and school politics, especially in regards to Autism. It was a bit eye-opening too if I’m honest. But I loved how united Don and Rosie were in all things Hudson. I could talk for hours about the way Don and Rosie made me smile whenever they played good cop and bad cop – at least their version of it.I believe this might even be the BEST book in this series.That’s actually pretty amazing – it’s rare that sequels surpass the first novel. But for me it’s all about the kids – they make books even better and actually bring out the best in many characters.

The first big plus was that I didn’t spend the entire book wanting Rosie to...well...die. I found her insufferable in the first two books. The author managed to hit a nice stride with her character and put her where she belongs...as a SUPPORTING supporting character. I would’ve given this five stars but the first third of the book was so slow! There were also so many characters and plots that, while tied up in the end, were a bit confusing. And I came into the book having read the first two! Not to mention that Don wasn’t allowed to shine as much as I’d hoped. Otherwise, Don’s escapades-especially with the animals mating idea-had me laughing such I feared giving myself a hernia! Seriously. I laughed until I cried. I hope we’re not done with Don and the fam!!!

My favorite of the Rosie books, and I loved The Rosie Project. This book was funny - some times laugh out loud funny, sometimes eye-rolling funny. It was also imbued with taut writing and warmth, charm, and love. It’s thought provoking discussion of autism was engaging without being heavy or preachy and delivered with care and grace. Only vegans and anti-vaxxers need be worried - on many fronts. Well done. Now I guess we need to wait for the movie. Jennifer Lawrence was all wrong for Rosie. How about Alia Shawkat?

These books are just happiness for the soul - the third book being every bit as enjoyable as the other two. I am RARELY one to read trilogies, losing interest as I go. The way Mr. Simsion writes in Don’s voice, the clever way the reader knows things that Don does not see, the nuttiness of the characters that surround him - it’s a formula the author pulls off perfectly. And I could not wait to read it. What an enjoyable ride.

Continues the fine work started in the first 2 books, lots of great plot points and twists and turns, along with great insight into our shared differences

Not as entertaining as the Rosie Project but still a good read. Following family dynamics and the evolution of friendships very well developed!

A highly enjoyable read, just delightful. I shall miss Don, Rosie, Hudson and their friends. Just a wonderful read, I couldn’t put it down.
